Wayne Davey joins Spigraph International as CEO

Spigraph International announces the appointment of Wayne Davey as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Wayne Davey joins Spigraph International from HP, where he was Vice President of HP Laserjet Printing Hardware & Solutions, EMEA.

The appointment has been made to bolster the Spigraph’s international growth and expansion strategy, and strengthen the company’s international management structure.

A British national, Wayne Davey brings with him over 20 years of international business experience, including 14 years of senior management within HP. His appointment is effective 3rd June 2013.

“The arrival of Wayne is a great opportunity for Spigraph. At this critical time in our expansion in today’s fast-evolving environment, Wayne will bring both his international management expertise and a valuable new perspective for continued growth,” said Daniel Chautard, President and founder of Spigraph International. “Wayne will take on the general management of our group, including the subsidiaries across Europe and Africa. I will remain President of the Spigraph board and focus on group strategy and corporate governance.”

After studying mechanical engineering, Wayne Davey joined HP in November 1998 as Manager of the company’s North European distribution business, then as Sales and Marketing Director for the HP Commercial Channel business. He subsequently became General Manager of HP company Scitex, leading the newly acquired industrial printing business to profitable growth, whilst integrating Scitex’s pre-acquired organisations into a single enterprise. From November 2011 until his appointment as CEO of Spigraph International, Wayne Davey was Vice President of HP Laserjet Printing Hardware & Solutions, EMEA.

His extensive EMEA business experience and his international leadership expertise will be valuable assets for Spigraph International’s ongoing success.
